Would you feel disrespected?

Was supposed to go out with boyfriend today and he tells me he’s working today had to reschedule he knew he had to work since yesterday and now only tells me the day of going out

I feel you are completely valid to feel how you do. When it was agreed upon that you guys were going out, you have all that expectation and excitement for the day. So when a cancellation happens, of course it is natural to feel hurt about it. However, if he knew that he had work before deliberately agreeing to a date, then i would say that opens up a conversation y'all need to have. Do you spend enough time together to where this can be a mishap, and you can go out another day? Or is it that you barely hang out or go out together that this was rare to see each other? Relationship may need to have tough conversations.

Ghost, maybe it was an honest mistake but he was wrong.. he should have told you as soon ashe knew. How long have u two been going out? What were you going to do... was it a formal date or just to hang out?
