I'm getting a lot of unsolicited advice from a friend. He has been telling me that I'm wasting my life and being immature because I don't want to marry and have kids. Him and his group are pretty much responsible for me posting these annoying ass questions on here, so I'm just going to stop beating around the bush. Yesterday, he asked if I was talking to anyone yet. I said yes just to get him off my ass, but he started being invasive. I had to tell him I didn't want to talk on the subject and that I didn't think it was important to consider my future with her. It probably isn't going anywhere. At this point, he gets almost angry at me and says, "When are you going to grow up? You're almost 30." I calmly explained that I don't need a relationship right now. I simply don't want one if it's going to cost me my freedom. Then he says verbatim "okay let me know when you're going to stop failing at life."

I genuinely don't get why people are mad at men who don't want to date. Like literally calling me a failure because I'm single is insane no? Maybe I'm just out of touch, but I feel like I need new friends ☠️
