Did I waste 6 years of my life at my job?

May boss was telling me how she met her husband at our job back in 2014 it's a pool company retail store we don't get many women working here.

i met a girl here in 2017 but it didn't work as I never had the balls to asked her out.

i have been here 6 years i always thought i would meet a girl here plus i liked the money from working 60 hours a week during the summer.

did i waste my life at this job?

Don't think of it as wasted, think of it as learning experience, expand your horizons and look for someone not at work. There are plenty of other places.

Work and finding someone do not need to be the same, sure it can happen but don't limit yourself to that.
