Usually not a good sign for you...
There are likely two things happening here. Firstly, your guy his trying to get some credentials and move up the guy hierarchical statue. And, it is likely that he has to prove that you exist and meet a reasonable standard of relationship. The second time and onward is simply bragging and nonsense for the guys.
The other option is that he is slowly trying to work you into the daily life. Bringing you into his life kind of thing.
