He just happened to see my phone screen as it was laying face up in front of him and it had a guys name on it that had been texting me. He apologised for looking and I turned the screen facing down

Yes, like I probably wouldn't say it to her, but after the date I would end it within a day or two.
If she was genuinely interested in me, she wouldn't be texting another guy during our date.
