Do guys ever fake crushes?

I talked to a guy who seemed to like me for about two weeks. I asked him out. No reply.

I hung out with a guy. He gave me his number, hung out with me for a whole football game and haunted house and protected me, let me take his photo, and twerked on me. I don't remember this, but my friends said that when I was terrified in the haunted house, I yelled, "[his name]! [his name]! [his name]! baby! My baby! I miss you! I need you! I love you!" My friend even heard him yell "I love you too!" when he ran out for food. Then said he didn't like me.

What's up with that?

There's another guy who sometimes says he likes me then sometimes not.

Then another who says, "Hi, Evie!" like 10 times in 5 minutes when I enter the classroom.

I think some do but many don't have a clue what they're feeling and lesser still any connection between their feelings and their actions.

For the guys you don't like/don't have a crush on, just be you/be normal. It's like a piece of paper on fire in a metal trash can: it'll burn itself out.

If it's a guy you like/are crushing on, get, keep, and maintain his attention.
