When a guy breaks your personal space he is demonstrating a sign of affection. to him it can not get any clearer than this that he likes you. If you respond affirmatively then he may ask you out. I would.

Other things like holding eye contact during the the touching and touching you when other guys come around is a sign of claiming or ownership. "She's mine". Lots going on in these kinds of circumstance.
