What does it mean if a guy keeps touching me?

Just curious, I have this friend who I get on with quite well. We see each other fairly often but we are both in a relationship. Everytime we meet up we have a laugh and a chat and as we are leaving he always makes a point of touching my arm or my back. I'm totally fine with it. But everytime no matter what the situation or where I'm stood he will make a point of touching me to say goodbye. When we are chatting he's been known to touch my leg to get my attention too. I've never noticed him do it to any of our other friends. Could it just be a friendly thing or could it be a subtle 'I like you?'

It means "I want to bang you." Yes, it might ALSO mean "I want to date you", but that's far less likely - not because of you in any way, but just because guys want to bang about 20 times more women than the few they want to date. By default, any and all attention a guy shows you is SEXUAL attraction - and it should only be considered romantic/emotional attraction when explicitly said as much, or when his behavior is romantic but overtly NON-sexual.

There's nothing wrong with that, of course - but you need to understand the difference, and that, most of the time, guys just find a girl physically attractive and thus want to bang her. Wanting an emotional relationship is the exception, not the rule. It happens, of course, but women tend to assume it's the rule (because it is for women), but it absolutely is the exception for men.

By your description, I strongly feel that he has feelings for you but the only way to get sure is by asking him.

Sometimes people tend to get touchy when they develop feelings for someone.

If you don't have feelings for him then maybe you should try and dodge him when he tries to touch you. Hopefully that way he'll get to know that you aren't interested.

If you are interested, then maybe you can just talk to him.

I am not sure. I am a tactile person and tend to touch people when I speak with them so I personally would not read too much into it but then again, everyone else said the opposite so I may be wrong. /shrug

Start paying attention to him and before he touches you to say goodbye, you do it for a few days. If you see a change in him, being more friendly than before, then he's into you, else, he's just your over touching friend.
