So there has been a guy that i have been crushing badly i have been always staring at him and all that but he never looked at me or smt but one day everything changed that day we had eye contact for more than 8 seconds! Since then im catching him starring at me a lot and then he looks away and my friends also tell me he's looking at me. I always hear him and his friends whispering my name when im around and my friend even told me that she heard them talk about me but he never talks to me personally or asks questions about me he doesn't even asks my friend. So I don't know really what to think. Is he just shy?

It could be they are talking about how you stare at him or the fact that they believe you have a crush. They could also be just trying to get him to say something because he is indeed shy as you suggested.

It is really hard to say what is going through someone's mind. If he is shy, it might be that you need to be the one to speak up first. Shy people rarely change or work up the courage to say something.
