When i started my job i was told i was the youngest in the whole company but soon i realised that was actually incorrect. On my first week at work. I was doing 9 to 5 before i started doing shifts so i was actually mixing with both shift teams.
One day i was clocking in and i put my clock in key fob on the scanner at the same time as this young man. I didn't really get a proper look at him but he had really long hair, very tall and skinny and a big smile (actually my type if im kinda honest) . He said "oh hello there you must be the new girl" i was kinda shy as i was new so just giggled and said yeah. He let me go first then he waved goodbye to me. He seemed like a super friendly guy and i was kinda relieved to see another young person at my work as i thought id actually have a possibility of making a friend.
After that i never saw him again. One of my colleagues i work closely with Chris kept having this lad coming in talking to him before he left his shift. I couldn't really see his face as he wears a hair net and face mask so for ages i never clicked it was the same guy who I'd spoken to at the clock in. After a while i learnt that this lad was called Kyle and he was my colleagues son, he works in the warehouse and is only 19.
I sometimes catch him staring at me and today when i was wishing all the others from the late shift a happy new year. I was kind of stood close to him. His face went bright red and i could see him kept moving his eyes towards me whilst talking to his dad. His dad/my colleague kept asking why he was looking away from him whilst talking and he got all embarrassed and awkward and just walked off.
He's actually a really cute guy but he's a baby and i have a boyfriend so i ain't going there but now im curious and im worried i might have embarrassed the poor lad. I know what it's like being in that awkward stage of being a teenager turning into a young adult and fancying someone you know you shouldn't.

id just like to mention i have a boyfriend and we are very much in love. No one could compare to him, he is my everything and i can't even imagine my life without him.
