He told me that he saw his crush from middle school (he is 25 now), and thats she still looked the same. I told him that when I told my mom this she said “oh he likes her” and he started hiding under his pillow saying “I shouldn’t have ever told you anything I don’t even know her!.” He’s telling the truth right? I tend to overthink everything and now that my mom said that I just need someone to get me back to my senses lol.

While I think that little kid in him may still have a crush on her that grown up, the reality is he loves you. You could talk to him, ask him about it. I’m kind of curious as to why he brought it up. Maybe he just thought it was funny, that all these years he had a crush on her. I wouldn’t start an argument that’s for sure. Just be curious. Like he pointed out he didn’t even really know her, so it was based purely on looks. I don’t think I’d look too much into it. Your situation makes me think of this song.
