I’m having surgery in a week & I mentioned a guy I’m sleeping with to come see me beforehand. Did he subtly say no or am I overthinking?

I’m have surgery in a week, I sent a guy I’ve been sleeping with for 4 years a text message: “I wanna spend time with people I care about before my surgery and that includes you.” He responded with: “You’ll be fine…. The surgery will go well.” Is it just me or is he declining coming to see me or is he just telling me I’m gonna be fine & the surgery is going to go well? I feel like I may be overthinking it….

Technically I never really came out and asked him to come see me which makes me think I could be overthinking it lol
