Why does my friend isn't supportive of me?

I have a friend and I always tell her how much I like my crush and she always say my crush deserves hotter woman, someday he will marry a hot woman because he could do better. its true he is hot and Im just average looking and It hurts cuz she knows I like my crush and she's giving me those comments now I feel insecure and I don't know why she isn't supportive of me

They're not your friend. There are lots of different types of people in this world but one type are those who feel unhappy in their own lives and seek to justify or give creed to it by exemplifying the negativity in others.

Your five closest friends are a good indicator of what you're life will be like... don't let one of those five be someone who tells you everything wrong with you so they can ignore everything wrong within them... run. run far away.

Eh, in this instance I'll agree. But a good friend won't always be supportive. A good friend wants what is best for you and if what you're doing is stupid, a good friend should call you out on it.

My buddy called me up one day asking for money.

I asked him what he needed it for and he gave a bullshit story about wanting to buy his girlfriend an engagement ring. He said he needed a down deposit but couldn't get it himself because they share a back-account and she'd know.

I e-transfered him $50 for a cab home and made the password "I fucked up".

The next day I found out he was out at the casino all day instead of at work. His girlfriend found out (he has a history), and she kicked him out. He asked if he could stay with me for a couple days while he smoothed things over.

I naturally told him to ask his mom because she's the only who will be there for him no matter what stupid shit he does. He got angry. We stopped hanging out for a couple years.

Eventually though, he got his shit together. He's back with his girl. He's just had his first born son last year. And I was the groom at his wedding. He hasn't gambled in 3 years.

I was not supportive and I let him go it alone. I am a good friend and I'll be there for him as long as he keeps making good decisions in life. But nothing is unconditional. Good friends bring value to the table and require you to do the same.
