What is the reason/psychology behind a couple who are still dating but are now pretending to be broken up on social media like hiding their relationship status instead of the single status and thanking each other for the good times.
The guy first blamed someone for ending their relationship, when that wasn't true, so what is the point of this couple pretending to breakup? When it's clearly a lie.
Is it gaslighting the person he tried to blame, or is this narc behavior.

Relationships are complicated. They may very well be broken up but still dealing with each other. I know people who technically ended things months ago and still carry on like a couple. It’s not for us on the outside to make sense of or understand, though.
I'm not sure why you think they are lying about breaking up, or why it's your concern. You honestly believe social media relationship status means anything? I think you are seeing what you want to see here.
cause they don't have their shit together and hav eno idea what they are doing or what they want pretty much.
