It is really difficult to give an accurate answer without the context and vibe. I have done that as claiming in front of guys. In effect the big dog at the table sending messages to the guys and you as well. It is like I am expressing an interest in you to you while simultaneously going Alpha on the guys.

I have also done that in jokes telling and lifted her leaning her into me. That was like a hug and you're funny too... I think I... that we could be something together. I so get your humor you dry ass, subtle, and thinking brain humorist.

And the risk is fun... just to see how she'll react. Looking for the Vibe and emotional release from being commandeered like a ship...

Is it around you or the back of your chair? I know a lot of guys that simply put their arms around chairs to stretch out. And it means nothing to the person in the chair except perhaps that they are comfortable enough to stretch out with them.
