Do men prefer a woman without a big social media presence?

Meaning a girl who doesn’t have a lot of followers or people she follows, doesn’t post any provocative photos of herself or photos of herself often etc. or do men not have a preference about social media presence? I saw a TikTok about this so I am interested to know if a women’s social media presence matters to a man.

I always advise for men to check out any social media profiles a woman has before he becomes serious with her. Her having a lot of friends/followers isn't really the issue, so much as how much time she spends on social media per day and what kind of content she is engaged in.

A lot of people engage in vitriolic behaviors online and since we are talking about women, many of them will demonize men either regularly or at least more than once. What she posts online, or what she shares online, is a good indication of who she is going to be as a person. It's easy to find yourself getting lost within a community that you shouldn't be apart of, especially if you are a vulnerable person.

We see this all the time on social media like Twitter, where her entire identity is to just be hateful. I have a friend on Facebook who can never post anything positive and she wonders why she is still single. It doesn't help that she surrounds herself with other toxic people.

I have no preference, as the internet is a common part of our lives now, I think it's cool for someone to be able to develop an audience that genuinely enjoys their content. But it's the content she posts that I might oppose.

It depends on what it is. If she’s doing something like a cooking show, or gardening or something that doesn’t involve her shaking her ass, showing her tits, seeking male attention I’m ok w it. I’m not for a girl whose social media post invade our privacy. I like my privacy. I don’t want to be a part of her social media, posting everything we do. Everywhere we go. Some pics are ok but I don’t want it to be a pic for every damn thing in her life. Also if her social media is too much that she doesn’t have time for me than I’m out, there’s no point in a relationship if we can’t be together. It has nothing to do w being insecure either as one girl pointed out. Always amazes me how women answer for men when it comes to women asking men what we think.

Yes, most of us do prefer that. Too much time spent on social media is a dealbreaker.

Depends what you mean by presence. There's a difference between a woman who communicates a lot and woman who just feels she's the star of a one woman show.

I don't know about other guys but I look down on women who use social media a lot. They tend to be toxic, high maintenance, and almost always attention seekers. It's a bad look.
