A married guy has been vying for my attention for a year. I have just been friendly and not trying to encourage him. He knows I am not the type he can cheat with but I don't understand why he still tries so hard to impress me and get my attention? He seems happily married. I am not about to date a married man. Just want to understand his motivation.

Its all guess work for now, but one of the above two might be possible.
