Serious TW child sex abuse











I’m hoping this shows low enough for the tw to work. No I don’t want opinions on the tw it’s very fair for the subject. So to get to it I’m a CSA survivor which is always an awkward conversation to have but I’ve recently had it with my boyfriend. He disclosed that he knows someone (his mother) who has also gone through the same abuse. He’s changed a lot since the news, sexually and in our daily relationship. My question really I suppose is if this is something normal and how I can help him with this?

I'm late seeing this question but I definitely agree with the therapy suggestion... and ideally doing therapy TOGETHER.

What's changes, exactly? Sometimes guys will become more patient and gentler with us to prevent causing us mental harm. Some distance themselves because they dont want to deal with it

He generally became a little scared of me I guess is the easiest way to phrase it. I think us seeking some therapy together is the best course but thank you so much for responding
