Do guys tell their friends when they are talking to a girl?

I was talking to a guy last year and went out with him only once (nothing physical happened between us)

now I’m talking to one of his good friends. Second guy asked me out. I don’t know if he knows about me talking to the first guy (his friend).

am I doing something wrong if I go out with him?

What I mean is that relationships fall apart for any and every reason in the beginning, so you don't want to tell people about this cool girl you're dating, only to have things fall apart, and have everyone looking at you like you're an idiot.

Also, one of the really awful things about male friendships is that a lot of guys feel the need to sabotage each other's romantic attempts. So it could sometimes be the case that you tell your friends about the girl you're seeing and they try to fuck it up as a funny little prank.

No probably not but maybe let them know I got a girlfriend but they would never meet her, either ways I don't have friends anymore so I shouldn't have this problem anymore
