Yes most guys in their teens and 20's would tell their closet friends if they liked girl or if they are dating a girl etc.

If he didn't tell his friends, Usually a best friend would have a good instinct that his pal likes or is crushing on a girl.

some guys dont share their relationship or private situations like crushes, i was shocked one of my guys friends was dating a girl for 3 years and did not bring her up to anyone throughout these years even tho he loved her and still does after the breakup
but sometimes men seriously just dont share which… and yes everyone can tell when a guy likes a girl
unless its in the beginning its kind of hard for people to notice change or attention someone is giving for another person. even in friend groups.
