But the thing is I’m sure he did see me he did a double take but I was nervous so I kept walking. Is it possible he didn’t want to seem like a creep since I didn’t acknowledge him which is why he said he didn’t see me?

Sounds flirty, but there's no way to know in this context. Go talk to him in person the next time you see him to feel him out.
I mean most guys are shitty and selfish if he didn’t like me he wouldn’t have bothered telling me to come over anytime right? I don't know in my experience uninterested men feel unconvinced by woman they don’t have any interest in unless it’s a close friend or something
