+1 yI know that unwarranted advice can be really rude, but personally, I would recommend against dating someone who smokes weed *often* and cannot even respond properly. If at all you guys start a romantic relationship and continue dating, is this how he is going to be half the time? High on weed? What about all the other important conversations that you might want to have in the future? Find yourself a man who would prioritize you over drugs.
I don’t think he blatantly rejected you. He was being honest. When you’re high, your brain cannot process important conversations properly and react accordingly. If you want to talk about this, you can meet him in person.

Back in the day if I had jist hit a blunt that was sending me I *would not* be able to handle this type of conversation.
Looking back, I was a mess and not really the calibre of person I am today.
So the verdict - in my opinion - is that a low calobre guy is being honest when he says to you he is high and can't discuss it right now.
Whether I wanted to admit it or not, when I keefed my. life revolved around blunts.
Maybe you use drugs and that is the right fit for you I don't know.

Opinion Owner+1 yYeah never tell a guy you like him first.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yIt means exactly what it says. He is high right now.
He knows, (because even stoned as fuck, a guy would know this) that there is ZERO chance you wanted to just tell him this and leave it. You wanted a CONVERSATION. You wanted this to take time. This was gonna be a head wrecker of a conversation no matter how he felt or what he said.
And the worst time to be dragged into such a conversation is when you're high.
You were not rejected, your timing and social comprehension skills just suck huge amounts of ass.

61 Reply- +1 y
6 hour update: Again, fix your priorities. Don’t move on because he’s not texting you back. Move on because he’s crap and doesn’t respect you.
I wouldn't take this as a rejection.
I don't know when I've been high, I literally can't talk to people, so I sympathize with him.
I would wait a few days and then bring it up again (probably during a different time of the day) or do it during a time that seems more natural. But if he responds the same way, you may be interested in a heavy stoner.

Its a very rude behaviour and this person is not capable of handling relationships. So you weren't rejected yet--maybe he was high and couldn't talk the serious talk.

Thats not true, I've liked women before and never asked them out, lots of guys are like that.
Asking someone out is not masculine or feminine.
It also might not have been a rejection, weed makes people retarded. - +1 y
Pursuing a man is very masculine. When a man wants you, he finds a way. He's not interested
- +1 y
You're delusional if you actually believe that 😂
- +1 y
@thespacegnome you're in denial.
- +1 y
Actually I'm not, you are.
Most guys these days wait until the woman asks, because society views men asking as "predatory". Before all that, it was about 50/50. - +1 y
@thespacegnome Men who are confident, attractive and successful go after what they want. If a guy is passive like you've just described he is most likely 9 times out of 10 insecure, weak, unattractive and isn't successful. Sad but true.

You're definitely delusional 😂

@Juxtapose anecdotal fallacy. joe rogan is not normal and you should not be using him as the standard, most people do worse in life from using it, he just happens to be a lucky idiot
- +1 y
@Juxtapose no, alcohol is not a worse drug, in terms of x/y where x is the people having serious problems and y is the total people who use such substance pot is far worse than alcohol
- +1 y
@Juxtapose nothing you are saying here responds to my thesis, labeling alcohol bad does not make pot good. dating a pot head is still for losers and will result in sadness
- +1 y
@Juxtapose it is not the normal experience of pot smokers to "do well" in life
- +1 y
@Juxtapose what? did you do any research before saying that? no it isn't. do you even know the people involved in banning alcohol?
- +1 y
"Scientists at the University of Colorado Boulder conducted a review of existing imaging data that looked at the effects of alcohol and marijuana, or cannabis, on the brain.
Their findings linked alcohol consumption with long-term changes to the structure of white matter and gray matter in the brain.
The use of marijuana, however, seemed to have no significant long-term effects on brain structure." - +1 y

It's not a weak-will thing, thc biologically makes people retarded.
- +1 y
Every high person I've ever spoken with in my entire life sounded like a confused moron.
- +1 y
I've met a lot of weed smokers, they were almost all average or below average intellects, then retarded af while high. it blocks neurons related to memory and cognition, so of course it makes people dumb. The only exceptions to the rule, are going to be exceptionally intelligent people becoming slightly above average or average when high, but it's still the same effect, they simply had a much higher starting point.
- +1 y
Your motor skills and intellect are still halved while high, they are just much higher than most while not high.
- +1 y
Well to give you an idea, THC is a lot less impairing than alcohol. Being sleepy also impairs me more than THC.
"Your motor skills and intellect are still halved while high, they are just much higher than most while not high."
Normally I would think that is egotistical of me to agree with but I have run circles around people mentally even while high. People can do so much better but they don't. - +1 y
Most people are average idiots who become clinically retarded while intoxicated because they have less neurons to start with.
I don't have an ego either, but I'd be lying if I said that if I ever got drunk or high, I'd not be just above average.
I don't use that stuff though even though I'd be able to fuction, because I want to be sharper than I am while sober, so any reduction I'd hate.
I'd rather focus on increasing my intellect and motor skills substancially. - +1 y
Martial arts is high risk for damaging motor skills through impacts, and suffering severe injury or death. I'll stick to safer options like making art and music, playing video games, and studying.

My dad did get his ACL porn because someone tried to fucking flip him over their shoulder while his ankle was stuck in the mud.
But having been in it for 11 years, I can tell you that the human body is pretty resilient and if you're not stupid then you should be fine while training. My dojo had us train outdoors as well as indoors and the experience has been invaluable. I even know how to fall safely and that has had real life application. - +1 y

@hIopinionated_ I never refer to a female as a bro! Weather she is a friend or partner
- +1 y
Yes. I think it’s weird. I agree. Women aren’t men so it doesn’t make sense

@hIopinionated_ I hate it when guys calls girls “dude” as well! A girl can call

Agree. Women or girls aren’t dudes. We totally need a new term though. I have a bad habit of referring to people as dude and guys
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ I kinda like it when a girl calls me dude! One chick I used flirt with would call me dude
- +1 y
Lol it is a nice word. I get why you like it
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ it kinda make me feel like I am the man when a girl calls me dude
- +1 y
I believe it sort of is a synonym for the word. Or maybe it’s cultural thing
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ perhaps! U ever called ur boyfriend dude?

- +1 y
I don’t have a boyfriend though. I have an ex. He’s my friend though
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ sis you call him dude?

I tend to mostly call men dude when there’s a debate and I’m trying to make a point. I say it out if frustration. But sometimes I say it when excited (not sexually)
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ oh ok gotcha! My ex used to say from time to time. As I said before I liked it

You’re respectful. Respectful guys have the potential to be nice. Plus, you make sense even though we’ve only been talking about one thing lol. You don’t seem rude. You seem almost playful as well. That’s a good sign

- +1 y
How do they take you for granted?
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ they think I am too nice and sometimes they use me
To get whey they want - +1 y
They’re just not the gals for you. Plus, if they think you’re too nice, they’re weird because there’s no such thing as too nice. When I think of nice I think of genuine people who are kind. I don’t understand the issue with that
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ I wish more females thought like you. I think it is easier to be nice to be others.
- +1 y
I agree. There’s absolutely no reason to be rude or disrespectful to others especially if they aren’t rude or disrespectful to you
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ it would be a better world if people were not rude! People here in Orlando Florida are rude
- +1 y
People in Texas are rude as well. It sucks. I just want to be alone, read books or play video games and go out sometimes but nooo people are insane 😭
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ wow Texas rude? What happened to southern hospitality? I hear you about being alone…that is why I stick to training and hip hop. I like the fact that you have an interest in reading.
- +1 y
Omg I love books🥰. I’m always looking to learn something new or help myself with self help books. Being extremely shy isn’t ideal and I’ll take all the help I can get
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ me 2 I used to be a bookworm 10 years ago! I need to get back into that. Reading books use to help me cough up some ill vocabulary. I would incorporate such vocabulary into my raps. I am glad you like learning. What books do you real. Nw I am shy as well
- +1 y
I do the same. I’m always happy to build up my vocabulary. I have all sorts of book but currently, I am reading a book called “tough love” on a website called wattpad. I have books I’ll like to buy but haven’t gotten around to it so i settled for a free book on a website for aspiring writers. It’s a really great read so I still love reading the book.
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ do you write as well? What is the book tough love about? Books take ur mind places! It’s develops imaginations
- +1 y
I like the idea of writing a book because I’ve noticed major errors in past books I’ve said but I didn’t actually do it. Was just a thought
- +1 y
Tough Love is a very good book. It’s extremely sad but I love how realistic it is (I love things that make sense) . This is one of those I’ll totally buy a printed copy if the author ever publish it. I really wish she would but she wrote the book years ago.
It’s about a woman who was sold into sex trafficking as a teen and she tries to move on from that life with her new job years later (after faking her death and getting away from the Russian mob) but she has a photographic memory. And there’s this man, a leader of a swat team and he’s trying to love her but it’s tough because she’s so broken. It’s such a good book - +1 y
@hIopinionated_ sounds very interesting how often you read? I need to start reading again
- +1 y
I wrote a very thorough response but it disappeared so I’ll just summarize what I remember. I’m more of a chapter a few times a week like of reading when it comes to texts that matter. Basically, when it comes to books that are for entertainment I’ll read chapters back to back but with self help books (or books for my classes) I’ll take my time reading those to annotate, make notes, and really study the text.
- +1 y
@hIopinionated_ I used to switch back and forth with books! I have to get back into reading! Keep reading it is so good for the mind’. I like romance novels, young adult novels, self improvement, and holistic books
