Is he ignoring me on purpose?

Hey guys so my birthday was on the 9th of this month and the guy I've been dating for a couple years was the first person to wish me a happy birthday, the day before that we even have lunch together, we were on good terms. Following that night of my birthday he calls and wished me happy birthday again and tells me he wants me to come over, I let him know I'm in for the night and that I can see him tomorrow, he agrees and we both tell eachother gn and end the call. About 30 mins later I text him "want to get bubble tea tomorrow evening?" Just so he could see that I wasn't just trying to diss him or something and that I also wanted to see him as well... it was late so I didn't expect him to text back right away... the next day I don't hear from him so I text him around 6pm " Ryan ♡ text me when you get home later" I know he doesn't get home until later on the weekday so I felt ok waiting even though I was feeling a bit anxious since he would usually respond to me within a few hours.. I don't hear anything... I've only sent him a total of 3 texts from the 9th to today and just this morning I text him if he's OK... I'm not sure how I should feel my emotions are all over the place from anxiousness to sad to anger... and take on what's going on here?

he's active on social media's so he's definitely not dead or anything like that.

Just give it some time, don’t wanna come over too clingy so if he doesn’t respond within a few days there’s definitely something going on. You said he was active on social media, but what do you exactly mean with “being active” is he posting stuff or he’s simply scrolling through on it? Also has he been reading your texts while not answering or? Chances are he’s ignoring you, but doesn’t have to be the case.

Yeah, I can see him liking his friends' posts and such or commenting since we has a few of the same friends. He definitely has read them because sometimes I'll ask him in person if he's seen my texts and he says he does... I find it odd tho.

That is indeed a little odd, he’s reading it but he’s not answering it.. Perhaps ask him why he’s not answering? Communication is crucial in any relationships, just don’t do it in a confronting manner and use the “I words” so he doesn’t get defensive.

Yeah that would have me question so many things. Specially when they are on social media.. I would say just wait it out. You already did your part in reaching out
