Why did this guy want me to go in the men's bathroom?

I was at the club with my friends last night, I wanted to fix my makeup in the bathroom and the men's and women's one are right next to each other. I stood there in line and a guy came out the bathroom smirking at me and he said something like "the women's bathroom is here" looking at me winking, pointing at the men's bathroom. I'm not really sure what that meant what did he want from me?
