A guy had to go to the bathroom in the middle of a makeout?

I was at a club the other night (and before anyone says anything about covid, I live in a town where there have been less than 50 cases since march 2020) and I had been talking to a guy for a couple of hours. We were flirting a little bit and finally we went dancing, and while we were on the dancefloor, he kissed me. The first kiss was really tame, he didn't even use tongue. Then we kissed again, and he slipped in the tongue once. Then we moved away from the dancefloor, and our third kiss became full on making out, but it didn't last very long because he stopped the kiss and said he had to go to the bathroom. And he had just been to the bathroom like... 10 minutes before we went dancing.

So... I probably know the answer but... what was that? I get that a guy can get a little bit excited, but we were barely even making out at that point so I was quite confused. After he went to the bathroom we made out for like 2 hours and he didn't need a "bathroom break" again.

How old was he? Odds are he might have a bladder issue. He might have been on the phone with someone. And no, he most likely was not in the restroom jerking off. Most guys don't do that in a public place.

He was 25. And yes, there are many other explanations (besides jerking off) but he hadn't had that much to drink so I don't think he actually had to use the bathroom. Also it was 3 am so I doubt he was on the phone with anyone

There are literally so many reasons. Most guys making out in a club don't care if they pop a woody so I doubt he was going to whack off or cool down.
