So this guy was actually flirting with me for a long time & I didn't even know that he was doing it.. I thought he is being friendly with me.. because of such differences between us... the religious, cultural & language differences... he showed me fully that he liked me he started all that thing first... but I don't know why...& Now he said let's start from becoming friends... I had crush on him but I never showed... cause I knew it was an impossible crush... but after knowing that he showed me fully that he liked me too...

It's possible that the guy wants to start off as friends first in order to build a stronger connection and get to know each other better before pursuing a romantic relationship. This can be a healthy approach, as it allows both people to establish trust and respect before taking things to the next level.
It's also important to remember that every person has their own boundaries and expectations in a relationship, and it's important to communicate your own feelings and expectations clearly. If you have a secret crush on him and want to explore the possibility of a romantic relationship, it may be helpful to have an honest and open conversation with him about your feelings and expectations.
However, it's important to respect his boundaries and decisions, and to prioritize your own well-being and emotional health. Remember that respectful and equitable relationships are based on mutual respect, trust, and communication, and involve a willingness to share responsibilities and support each other's goals and aspirations.
Well if i were you id take the risk and put your feelings out there. Guys dont friendzone themselves unless they like her and want to be relevant to a girl and doubts her feeling the same way
Either that or he has doubts about the culture differences and wants to see if things click
And what's wrong by starting at 'let's first be friends'?
Would a boy (e. g. a virgin/never previously consummated marriage) who is a friend not make for a boy-friend?
And likewise for a girl making a girl-friend.
