Why do women think so lowly of them selves that they would settle for substandard men?

Like women not knowing a good man from a bad man who would abuse her. Why are women so blind in not seeing where the good men are? You could have spoken to one yesterday and might not have known it.

Because a lot of women are low value so they seek what is available to them. I'm not talking about sex but about a guy taking her seriously. Look around and you will see that very few guys take a woman seriously if all she has to offer is sex/looks.

Another reason is that many women were brainwashed by the single mom environment they grew up in to have LOW expectations for men. From day 1 they think the best they can get is the same kind of guys they saw their mom trading in/out every week/month. Those guys don't provide stability. She thinks she must (basically) act like a man and find a guy who is weak to protect herself.

Some people (men and women) seem to be poor judges of potential partners. Maybe they see what they want to see , not what is actually there. Then if they are "people pleasers" they may have difficulty leaving

A woman who has a substandard father is not going to be able to recognize what a substandard man is.

Women seek shitty men because they love drama, aggressiveness, and the scum types because women equate shitty men with this “bad boy” nonsense they get wet for.
