I like when the girl texts first sometimes. Communication is a two way street. If I feel like I have to initiate all the time I assume she must not be very interested.

Don't think I've ever really had a relationship initiated via text, but okay, I'm probably just behind the times.

The norm is for guys to do it, simply because the average woman is more in demand than the average man.

The problem with making the first move as a woman is that many guys may say yes simply to get laid. So if you want more, it might be better to let him make the effort. But you can drop plenty of hints that you want to be approached.
