I'm so bad at this. I have this deep-rooted insecurity that always tells me that I'd be bothering the other person, that I'm boring and they aren't interested in hearing from me.
I also feel like this with my childhood friends.

So personally, it's not like I expect them to write first or anything... But it's rooted in my own troubles.

I does get better when I've had a conversation with someone about where I stand and if they've told me they want to hear from me and stuff.
I have a friend I've actually had this conversation with and after that, it has really help me feel more secure when texting them.
