Is it normal to hear someone calling your name?

I keep hearing someone calling my name. It doesn't matter if I am in a silent place or crowded. I know it is in my head but it is someone else's voice. Quite creepy. Has anyone experienced that?

Thats called an auditory hallucination. Its your body taking a memory or thought and translating it to the brain as happening right now. It and visual halucinations are normal when dreaming (thats what dreams are), but if it happens while awake, something is wrong.

It could be as simple you aren't getting enough sleep, this will result on brain cleaning chemicals at least partially activating while awake, causing random hallucinations (since your eyes are open, you are feeding visuals to the brain already, so auditory ones are far more likely, especially if its quiet, in fact sensory deprivation will also induce hallucinations).

Or it could be something in your food or water or a medication side effect or your environment.

If you ruled out anything you ingest/inhale, then it may be neuron damage. Nearly everyone will have a lack of sleep or ingestable side effect induced hallucination at some point in their lives, but of its happening a lot then you should look into ruling out lack of sleep and ingestable/inhaled contaminations and go from there.

If that doesn't get rid of it, you may need to see a doctor. You can always do that first, but they like going strait to prescribing dangerous medications, and you may not actually need those if it is from lack of sleep or something you are exposed to or ingest.

I have and yes it's creepy. We get used to hearing it over and over and then sometimes something like the music on some youtube video will sound like the song like call of my name from my wife. I'll look around, upstairs, down, nobody there and then I'll hear it again and put 1 and 1 together.

You should probably do a cleanse. It means a demon is attached to you. Just ignore it and don't acknowledge it. It's best to have bells or singing bpwls and curse demons out and away if you can't cleanse.

To cleanse - you will need to mop your household weekly and stop inviting people with demonic spirits into your house.

It also means this demon is a monitoring spirit for someone throwing the evil eye at you. If you're around no good humans - you need to cleanse them from your life.

Also if you hear constant ringing in your ears or electricity - that also means you might be neurodivergent and may need SSRIs to calm the brain activity down.

Could be a symptom of stress or a lack of sleep. It's an auditory hallucination and I occasionally get them at night when my sleep patterns are screwed up and I'm in that zone between asleep and awake.

Of course it could be a brain tumour.

However I’m spiritual, where I’m from that’s how ennemies with bad intent get their victims mentally disoriented.
So, don’t ever answer to voice calling your name you don’t see, Instead ask a question, like who is calling? If you see something don’t acknowledge it, of interact with it. You have the power, all they need is your permission and acknowledgment.
If you can pray, and you believe in a higher power order them out, chastise em!

The last time I was in house alone and heard my name being called it was "God" in Heaven. So, it's either God calling you to talk or the Devil. Hopefully it's God he needs to save you from something tragic trying to happen 🙏🏾😇

Yes, i remember once vividly hearing my brother whispering my name when i was alone in the street, i thought he was playing with me so i looked around and he was no where near, later i met him somewhere else and i knew he wasn't there which was just strange
