I disagree.
A woman that is a tomboy would actually have more in common that a very feminine woman.
Honestly, a very feminine woman might catch a man’s eye easier but that’s just a sexual animal attraction. Once past that, we might not be happy of our choice. I think you have more to offer in the long term. The trick will be getting past the first “attraction phase”.

Some guys are totally on fire for Tomboys. And the answer to that is simple. Because tomboys look dominating, and most of the time they are.

Normally the Man is the more dominant part. But by appearing, talking, clothing or behaving similar to a Man, you appear also dominant like a Man.

And some Men are totally on fire for such women. Because dominating women are often (not always): direct and they take no BS, they are brutally honest even if it hurts, they know that life is no Princess Cinderella dream, they are helpful in everyday situations and are not afraid of doing something because they might break snail, but they are also thankful. And yes often they are also dominant between the sheets in the bedroom. And some Men totally admire Girls that are more "Best Friend type" rather than being "submissive Girly Like"

Some Men want no Pink little Princess, they want a dominant Women who knows what she wants and who tells her Man what he needs to hear, instead of sucking up everything that bothers her.

The girl next door was a bit of a tomboy and my best friend for years. She came back after the summer looking very fat and wore loose fitting frumpy clothes, the rumour around school was that she was pregnant, I just though too many burgers in california.

I knew she was gifted when one day I called around to her place to hang out like I always did and forgot to knock and there she was standing in her underwear trying to put her new bra on. I just froze like a deer in her headlights. Gifted? She had the biggest pert breasts I have ever seen, like they were giant. I'd only seen nude girls in porn. She was flat chested at the start of the summer as far as I remember and when she came back her chest had exploded. Like she was thinking short skinny little thing with tits too big for her tiny frame. Anyway she screamed for me to get out. She avoided me for a week until she talked to me in the corridor during school, while we were talking I couldn't help getting an erection and she walked away in disgust when she saw that. Pretty soon every time we talked or met up I would get hard. Eventually she said that obviously because I liked her boobs so much I should just jerk off to her topless to get it out of my system and that's how our relationship started.
