Is height more important than looks when the guy is still taller than the girl? (really long text)?

This is my first post here and I must say that I am not a native speaker, so there might be many mistakes. Please don't blame me for them 🙁 I hope you will get the gist and can share your thoughts with me ☺ I am also not trying to insult people here, I am just sharing my opinion with you guys...

So, I am a 21 year old guy who is 5"8 tall or short. I know that I am a rather short guy, for some I could even be a midget ☹ who will never be considered as tall and that's totally fine for me. My problem is that girls often date guys who are at least 6 foot tall and they don't care how the fuck the guy actually looks. And by looks I mean like those skinny/scrawny guys with zero muscles, zero trained bodies (shoulders are as wide as their hips...) and zero facial hair with an insanely shitty/receding hairline who will probably be bald in 1 year. They still get girls. And they don't just get some girls, noooo, they get girls who are really, really attractive and could get any guy they want. I am not saying that I am a male model. Honestly, I don't consider myself as a model but I do look better than other friends or guys I know. I go to the gym, try my best to get bigger arms/chest/shoulders, have facial hair which I groom and have a good solid hairline with no real receding hairline. I live in Germany but I am from Southern Europe where people are in general smaller that those guys in Northern Europe. Now you may think that this is all bullshit and I am a retard but I actually see this phenomenon every day when I go to university. It's always the same. Gorgeous girl with scrawny, untrained, no facial hair boy with shitty receding hair or simply a guy who isn't attractive at all but is just tall. And that's it. Another example is one dude who was with me in school. Exact same thing applies to him. He is skinny as hell, has no facial hair, is absolutely not trained or ripped, his hair is noticeably receding [Part 1]

and on top of that, he just can't talk to girls or can have any real conversation with girls. And hell no, his face doesn't look like George Clooney's or a movie star. I can't explain how the fuck they get those girls. Now I know that my chances are zero when I approach girls who are at the same height or even taller than me. That's totally fine and I accept it. But why the hell do those <1.65m girls want a dude who can be her dad they if they walk next to each other? And why the hell do girls k

And why the hell do girls kind of ignore all other "attractiveness" factors like face, body, facial hair, hairline and so on. I just don't get it. Maybe German girls are just retarded. Maybe height is more important than everything else... Maybe I am an idiot and that's it. I simply don't get it and I would really appreciate it, if you guys could tell me your experience with this topic.
