What are some important things that women don't understand about men?

I couldn’t generalize about all men and I wouldn’t presume to understand any man other than myself. From my perspective though I’m a highly emotionally intelligent man , I need deep emotional understanding in both directions and a good standard of communication. I don’t do arguments AT ALL. I don’t need support or re-assurance , but I do need to be trusted and trust , and I need honesty above all. Cannot stand liars and cheats. My friends and family I give my all for and I expect the same in return.

Here’s an easy one; stop making small things complicated and have enough self confidence to make up your mind about things. It’s not hard to know what you want to eat. it’s not hard to say what you do or don’t like.

Stop making problems you don’t feel like dealing with our problems. It’s not hard to plan ahead. But if you really genuinely want/need our help with something; express genuine appreciation for the work we put in.

I think women today learn too much about male behavior from media rather than direct interaction with men and doing some character analysis on individuals. The whole idea of masculinity, what it is, what is bad masculinity, what is bad masculinity, it's all very much regulated by media, which women buy into a lot more than men. This is becoming the case for men also, but it's usually embittered men who do this.

Also, men have issues too. Lots of women are a bit selfish in that they only look about their own troubles, but if a partner is going through a rough time they don't want to share any empathy. Men are very objectified right now, more than women used to be before the gender role reversal.
