Why do my “friends harshly judge me” when their life’s are falling apart?

I’ve got a guy who has never been to college doesn’t work has self esteem issues and is dating a girl he admits he is very unhappy with and is losing attraction to judge me saying I am not mature enough or have enough stability to date this 30 year old I like.

and a friend who has a baby to a one night stand who now fails to provide and speaks to her terribly on a weekly basis insulting her and and she is known by everyone in the city for sleeping around with men and taking cocaine from men. I mean. I thought to pass strict judgement you have to have some credibility to back it up.

But real talk they sound toxic as fuck and I'd probably just distance yourself and make new pals. Enjoy your time with the fella and allow what they think. If your happy it's all gravy

Avoid and ignore them. Other people's opinion doesn't matter. You are not born to please them in the first place. Find friends who are alike with your values. :)

Nah, you just have to know people. They fucked up. But if they see you going down the same path, they will tell you. I would still re-evaluate what they have to say about you, and try to make some corrections.

Because you got different people telling you do different things.. you think it’s judging, but if they are friends, then they are trying to help you out. Just because someone’s life is falling apart, doesn’t mean that they don’t know what they are talking about. It’s failure that makes you wise, not people that have the most success.
