Guys, Mr fix it?

I have been told that when a women expressed her concern or is possibly having a moment where she is just venting, that guys inherently take this as a need to fix what ever she was complaining about. But my question is let's say if she out right tells you blunt what she needs from you, do you men suddenly not understand words or something? It's like all the unnecessary honey dos around the house start getting fixed but never the actual problem.. example she said I need more attention from you I need to feel important so call me see how I'm doing now and then it just to say hi.. Why does this happen?

Im not sure why it's happening, but if he's NOT giving you what you need, then talk to him. If that's NOT working, them maybe you need to look elsewhere to meet your needs.
