What is this guys issue?

So a few weeks ago, I was at a Halloween party of my brother's friend, and while at this party, I intended on going home with this one guy I’d been texting, but he was being weird, so I was talking to my brother's friend and all of a sudden my brother's friend starts making out with me and he asks multiple people at the party about me, If they thought he had a chance, we end up going home together, and he told me he’s had a thing for me since he first met me before he found out who I was and now that my brother had moved away he was taking his chance and said he wanted to go on a date and hang out and that he didn’t think my brother would care as long as he treated me well. Even after we hooked up, he was saying all of this stuff. We were texting, and things were good, then he started to say it was a bad idea and we should stay away from each other. We saw each other today as my brother back in town, and he altogether avoided looking in my direction and wouldn’t say a single word to me, and acted as though I didn’t exist. I even said he didn’t have to say all of that stuff to me to hook up with me and he said No i truly mean it. What is this guys issue?
