If you offer them your soul on a silver platter and worship and adore them, they have contempt for you. Then after being told in no uncertain terms to go away, you graciously honour their wishes and then start using dating sites and going out more. Then you start attracting more guys and going out and having fun. The guy you once adored who said he was dating someone else starts trying to impress you and get your attention. But it’s too late, because you long since accepted that he didn’t want you, so you found other men who do? What is that about? I don’t get it.
