What does a guy do when he’s jealous of the girl he secretly has a crush on talking to another guy? Or when other guys approach her?

If I liked her j should have moved quicker then. If she talking to other guys now, and I am allowing myself to get all emotional rather than just moving on to another girl, then I would in this hypothetical scenario, prove to her that I would have been the work guy to show interest in.

it can be anything , he may try harder to attract attention from the girl , or he may try to avoid get attached too much by talking to other girls , or he won't do anything , jus chill , etc

Actually I just wonder what would be the reason why he did that.

A guy asked me if the paper was to be submitted to me, I answered no, give it to XXX, then he suddenly woke from his sleep and walked up to me saying “why did you mention other’s name.. why., blah blah blah, you go do some self reflection”
I am just wondering if I did anything wrong.. I’m kinda sad and angry actually
