Am I normal or am I just exaggerating?

Me and my boyfriend in a relationship for 1 year and a half. When i am with him.. he pays for me. He gives me gifts, he is keen and adorable. But when we aren’t together.. he can go a day without text or call me, other days he calls and text. Sometimes he can be online and doesn’t call or text me. When i text him he doesn’t reply immediately even if his phone is with him. I don’t like to blame or complain or even worse I don’t like to ask for his care and attention. What is that! Is it normal for couples not to talk for a day or two? I don’t understand why he’s being like that when he’s very keen when we’re together. So what to do with him? He doesn’t want or love me? Or it is normal?

For many of your generation, the most important qualifying characteristic for a companion is how quick they reply to your texts. What utter nonsense! If it’s so dammed important, why aren’t you calling instead of texting?

I called him. But he didn’t answer. I thought maybe he is busy but i found him online and he didn’t call back. So I think it’s clear now.

It is not a big deal to spend a day apart without talking. Being apart makes the heart grow fonder. It's not good to be so clingy to him
