Hi guys
Whats the definition if a guy says he's not looking at marriage. Just companion. He just want both parties to be happy when together.
Disclaimer: He is definitely not looking into any sexual because we aren't even holding hands but are sleeping together.

So what are YOU looking for? In my eyes, there’s nothing confusing about his boundaries. He very plainly told you that he isn’t looking for a relationship and basically just wants a female companion. He was very transparent and put all his cards on the table (which we can appreciate), so now you have to decide if that works for you. Ask yourself, do I want to emotionally open myself up to a man who’s unavailable? Or wish him well, and find another man who aligns more with what you want.
There are a few definitions. Mine definition as companions is that 2 person does everything just like normal couples but just not having intention of getting marry.
Another definition could be just spending time together happily like normal friends.
In this situation he could be looking at e 2nd definition but if he is, then why is he spending the nights sleeping with me.
So you aren’t answering my question lol what do YOU want from this situation? The thing is, I think you’re adding areas of complication to this situation that doesn’t exist. Like he’s sleeping at your house because he wants companionship. Same for if you two have dates, end up having sex or whatever other benefit that comes with being in a relationship— he wants that. So if you’re a woman that is seeking a relationship, you have to pursue that with someone who’s on the same page. If you’re fine with casual then keep at what you two are doing. Just done confuse the two notions, know what you’re signing up for and if you want full clarity then be upfront, ask him if he’d want something one day.
