Guys and female friends. (or girls with guy friends)

my crush has a lot of female buds, I don't think he's dated any of them or has interest in them...they're all just group buddies. I was reading a convo on his Facebook, and they were just joking around picking on each other, and the girl just laughed it off and wrote 'i love you' to him. I don't wanna read into it, he clearly shows he likes me in person, but I never said I love you to my guy friends, I always say love ya, or I heart ya or something...do you think this female friend really has feelings for him? they went to the same high school and everything, have mutual friends, go to same community events with their buds...they have hung out alone, but I don't know I'm just not THAT tight to my guybuds like that...i just want your opinions on what you think...do you guys act like this with your female buds too?

If a guy is a regular friend with any girl there's something in it. He might not want those girls as "the one" but he'll be attracted to them. Same for all opposite sex friendships which are strong, who wants to spend their time with someone they aren't attracted to? in some way.

Now, this girl saying "I love you" could be innocent. For example, I would say I loved a girl if we had know each other for a long time and she had just said something perfect which showed how well she knew me. In the sense that I would mean "oh your so great" and "thanks for being my friend".

Its very likely she has feelings for him though.

He sounds like he's just enjoying his popularity and he won't be settling down anytime soon.

I wouldn't say I loved a female friend who was just simply a friend, but that's because I know the way girls see that word. Some guys who've had it easy (e.g. girls falling all over them) never learn that those words are more meaning full to a girl till they fall hard in love.

I"m pretty much like this guy, I have a lot of female friends, to be honest I have more female friends then guy friends, but take from me that its a very good change they don't mean anything to him romantically. He's a guy so he might think they are cute or something but we wouldn't do anything with them. I have never personally said I love you to a friend but I've had a lot of girls say that to me and its more like I love you best friends almost family type I love you or a big brother I love you. Don't read to much into it. That being said there is always a chance that girl might like him, I've had that too but that is less likely. You are not his girlfriend so its not your place to worry, but even if you were it would be a good idea to just talk to him about it.

I always tell my closest lad mates I love them, some I really do - but in a friendship way. They've made a difference to my life for the better and I'd feel lost without them. It maybe an 'I love you' meaning this type of friendship.

Just because you don't do something, doesn't mean noone else will. everyone is different and all that =]

if he shows he likes you, that's all that matters. if they've known each other for years and not shown interest in being with each other don't worry, and don't try to read to much into their friendship as it will eventually kill of you and this guys relationship, I know I wouldn't stay with anyone who tried to come between me and my friends. Show him you respect his friendships and he will like you even more =]

I have close guy friends and I say stuff like I love you but only as a playfull joke. I can't tell whether she really likes him, because the way I see it they're just hanging out and fooling around like best friends do.

All I can say is, guys/girls, especially attractive ones, can't help but have these flirtation episodes from the opposite sex because well...their hot! XD its pretty normal. It's just freindly flirting. If she's groping his butt and shoving her tongue in his mouth then that's a completly matter. Just go for it, don't worry about it, and hope it ends up great.

yeah she may like him.but I don't think you need to care..just see if he likes you .I think guys can be close to both his female firends and his gf..especially hot guys.girls may just keep throwing themselves to him.can you bother each everyone of them? u'll be dead tried.

It is possible she likes him, but if you want to catch your man then go forth and get him. If she is interested in him, then you don't want to sit around and wait. Make your feelings clear or at least hint at them. It is more than possible however that she is just his friend and it was just her choice of words at that time. I personally do have people saying this to me all the time, sometimes joking and sometimes just as a goodbye. It really doesn't mean anything necessarily. Good luck!

i say that kind of stuff all the time, but then I'm really good friends with with them. its not somthign I say to every girl that's my firned, but to my core of awesome friends becasue they say it to me so I say it to them. especiialy in bad situations like infront of their parents or boyfriends. yeah thast alwasy the best muahahah

Of course it's possible that she likes him but I don't think you can interpret that from her comment. I would say 'I love you' to a close guy friend and mean nothing by it.
