Why is he suddenely distant?

So I ave this crush and he was acting like he liked and he was being obvious about it, until after the spring holidays he's been suddunely acting cold, I mean it seems like he's always tailking and getting to his girl friends whenever I am around ( I do the same thing with my guy friends). I want him to like me back again but i don't know how, I wanna do something so he will think about me the entire summer, in addition we don't talk much together. Also yesterday in the stairs I was In the stairs and he was down talking to his friend and he literaly did a side-eye to me and it was not even judgy, why is he doing this, and what am supposed to do to win him back. Plus when ever i initiate a converstion he tries to avoid eye-contact.

If you haven't asked for a way to contact him, try that, if he denies or is still distant then acceptance is the next best thing to do tbh
