Guys, if your girl friend took a day to reply to you, would that bother you?

If you sent a random meme to your girl friend , not girlfriend, and she replied the next day, would you think anything of it?

I’m asking because my friend sent me a meme and at the moment I was very preoccupied with work and totally forgot to reply. I did today though, I actually didn’t say why I took so long cause it’s a meme not an actual conversation yk. I’ve never replied that late before as well and now he’s behaving so cold towards me and he’s being a little rude too.

Yes i would give cold rude treatment if i have felt that your playing toxic games with me short replies, no excitement, late replies, your not contributing to conversation yet all and I'm carrying everything, and yeah if you completely ignored me then for sure I'll pay back this all as happened with a very close friend girl who knows everything about me i even had some feelings for her at times and now i completely ignore her for these reasons above we haven't talked from a year

The cold truth would be that it depends if I have feelings for that girl friend or not, cause if I actually see her as just a friend then it wouldn't be a big deal but if I have feelings for her, if I get no response then it won't make you feel any good that's for a fact lol

First off I'm single so that colors things. So I can only answer as though I had a girlfriend. And the truth is everybody is different. You can't apply YOUR standards to other people. I'd be cool with her taking a day to reply to me if it's been established that this is NORMAL for her.

My personal belief is people make too big of a deal when it comes to text messaging.

It depends. If, like in your case, it was work or family and then you forgot, no. The world is WAY to big and life is WAY too short to bother with that.
