I was talking with my friend and told her a convo between me and my coworker and she said it was inappropriate but I didn’t think it was.. am I naive or is she just overly sensitive?

I just started this job a few weeks back. the convo was between me and my coworker who is also training me in over video chats. We work remotely so I don’t see him in person. But I started chatting with him more freely instead of more reserved and he like said yes! Finally I got to see this side of you! I like that you’re loosening up. Or something like that.

Was that actually inappropriate?

Also, congratulations on becoming comfortable with being more yourself at work! That takes a lot of courage, but I assure you, you'll find it worth the benefits.

Being authentic at work makes it much better, and especially working remote it helps.
