Why does my male friend roast me? He used to flirt and stare at me and then started dating another girl. But he still roasts me? why?

He probably roasted you once and when you sat there, laughed and/or smiled, he thought it was something you found funny and kept at it. Obviously he’s not gonna flirt anymore but in his mind this is still a way to interact with you inoffensively. If you don’t like it then all you’ve got to do is tell him, unless you’re afraid of losing him altogether.
