My wife started community college part-time at 43- or 44-ish; she graduated with a certificate (not even an Associate's degree) at almost 51. Now, because of that, she makes more money than I do as an IT manager in a Fortune 10 (not 100) company.

I'm 60 and I'd go to my local community college if they had something I could learn. (I went to college forever so I already know a vast amount that is offered there.)

Not at all. I was 48 when I first went to college. It too was a community college. At 51 I graduated with a 3.65 GPA. I would have been kicked out had I went right out of high school. It was the right move for me.

Not at all. I think it’s better, in fact, considering how many people throw themselves into school without knowing what they want. Being 23, you’re more likely to have a plan of what you want to get out of your education. At my cc, there are probably a lot of people in their early or mid twenties.
