Very early on, my SO told me he never smoked. So it registered in my head that he never smoked and that the only poison he takes is an occasional drink.
Earlier, he was sharing some story that there was a time in his life when he smoked tobacco (pipe smoking). Since it was a casual conversation, I didn’t think much about it until I realized that he mentioned before that he NEVER smoked in the past.
It’s not a big deal to me that he tried smoking. My question is mainly why did he keep it from me?
