Was I right for blocking him?

we met online , and talked for 2 days but then after 2 or 3 days he didn't text me so I texted him first (but he replied late at night or the next day i don't remember ) and asked about my exams and studies and he said that he busy with smthg that's why he responded late and when I asked him what was he busy with he told me he had things to do in the day and that he spent the night with his friends

and then I said out of no where : :"Bye " and blocked him

like if he cared enough to know me better he would have texted me first right after 2/3 days of no communication , did i do the right thing?

Hmmmmmm. There's nothing wrong with blocking him but to be honest it sounds a bit extreme. I only say that because I don't see a pattern of him being late to respond to you or him ignoring you. I think in your position I might have let it go one or two more times. But that's me and not a judgement.

Also, if all he did was not respond maybe going quiet might have been an alternative for you instead of blocking. Again, seems extreme. But also again, no judgement. You have to do what's right for you and if this is it, then good on you.

I mean you could have waited he was prob busy and needed a night out but of course you want to look out for red flags and hey you followed your instincts
