We decided to be friends because he couldn’t do long distance but says he still likes me. We haven’t talked it’s almost been two weeks now

Well, first and foremost you’ve gotta stop holding onto hope. The situation can’t work, and I think accepting this will help a lot more with letting go. Aside from that, you just have to let time do it’s thing. It’s hard to let go of a person you still very much love, you’ll keep trying to think of ways to make it work or that ‘what if’ factor. Stop doing that to yourself (if you do), remain busy, patient, this too shall pass.
