I kind of started to like this guy at my job that I would see most days. I became very attracted to him. He started to become a bit playful with me. He’s a bit of a goofy guy.

he was all smiles and playful a couple days ago but the last time I saw him.. he just straight avoided me. He didn’t seem angry he just didn’t really look at me or communicate. It made me so sad..

I hadn’t seen him in a few days. Someone said he stopped working at the job… was It just all a joke or was I just another person on the job.. no bye or nothing… we aren’t close but I still thought he would say something

Honestly, I’m not totally sure he left but he had a duffle bag and someone said “you’re a good chef” when he was leaving out the kitchen.

It really didn’t register with me that he could be leaving for good… I was passing through and he was at the door and I was about 4 ft away from him leaving out the same door. when he was leaving out I heard him say sorry.. but I didn’t know who he was talking to… I was not far behind him and it was just me and another chef but he wasn’t paying attention.. he had the door still help open and peeped his head back while saying “sorry”.. but there was only me in his view

It’s just all confusing. I don't know what happened

I know what you mean. I’m the same way. I got rejected by my crush last week 🥲 I know I can say you’re good enough and whatever but if you’re like me I know it doesn’t mean anything. I don’t really know the best way to deal with it because I don’t know how to myself. Sometimes people just don’t work out though and it isn’t anyone’s fault or a reflection of your worth. You can’t let other people decide if you’re good enough. Even though I got rejected I at least found some kind of value in myself for finding the courage to even take my shot. If I can absolutely hate myself on every level and still manage to find some scrap of self worth in my failure, you might be able to too.
